After Michael Jackson’s sad passing, Thrill the World is going to be the biggest is has been yet. I was driving around downtown Vancouver the other day and came upon a life-size letter F. Some good marketing if you ask me – I know I looked it up when I got home. It’s a new campaign for Fujifilm called ‘Get on the F list‘. I just thought it was worth posting for others to see. I apologize for the quality of the photo. Taken with my cell phone, on a rainy day, while driving (sort of, it was a red light).

I discovered this on my way to work one day. It’s in Burnaby on Edmonds. And I thought it was awesome… so I will share.

The picture seems to have blurred a little bit after uploading to my wordpress CMS so it’s not the greatest photo and I didn’t take any extra time to fix it. My apologies.

And I didn’t stop driving to take this picture, now that’s talent! (whether in driving or photography is yet to be determined) =p

Like most females, I love to shop. Lately, shopping online will be the death of me and my credit card, it’s just so easy! I find the place I spend the most money is the Apple website – but I guess that would make sense when we’re talking about me right? 

However, I find there are those cool random things I find here and there that are just so awesome that I spend way too much money on them – have the rush of getting them in the mail and then the thud of my heart when I get my credit card bill. My two worst: T-shirts and bags. 

I’m constantly finding new websites with cool purses and bags to buy but there is definitely one site that I love for T-shirts. It’s good for geeks like us too – I bought a T-shirt from there once that had “Lorem ipsum dolar sit amet” on it. Web developer/designer through and through. If you’re in this industry, you understand. 

Anyway, I feel compelled to share this experience with you. So feel free to look around the Threadless website and rack up the dollars with t-shirts you’ll love (I use the excuse I need them for summer).  :-)

When I first started my New Media Design and Web Development program at BCIT I had never used a Mac before in my life, PC’s were my world.

But then we got a brand new 17″ MacBook Pro with our program and I fell in love – although I still use PC’s I’m a total Machead now and I would rather do anything on a mac than on a PC.
