    No I didn’t… I just thought they were cool. Apparently they don’t have much battery life after you charge them. So it’s a neat idea, but needs some improvement on the technical side I think.

    They’re not that bad - they hold 1300mAH. the old nickel cadmium batteries only hold about 800. NiMH AA’s hold around 1500 to 3000. So if they tried hard they could make a 2000mAH version of the USB battery since 1/3 of it is used for the USB plug and charger.

    I saw a USB powered charger for AAA [and maybe AA] batteries in a shop today. but thats kinda boring
