I found this today:

I think it’s ingenious. Especially for those of us
who are computer maniacs. Yay for helping the
environment!!!

The ‘R’ Word

Midnight Lights will be undergoing a re-design soon. I’m not quite sure what direction I’m going in yet - but let’s just say Illustrator and Photoshop are running wildly on my computer. This is making the room very warm with the heat of my computer and also forcing MJ to sing Beat It louder and louder over top of the cooling fans and their buzz.

Rest-assured that the new design will NOT be a template and I’m super stoked for that. Yay for my own design! :)

Until later.
Peace. Peace Out

Apple Wallpapers

When I first started my New Media Design and Web Development program at BCIT I had never used a Mac before in my life, PC’s were my world.

But then we got a brand new 17″ MacBook Pro with our program and I fell in love - although I still use PC’s I’m a total Machead now and I would rather do anything on a mac than on a PC.

So in celebration of Mac I thought I’d post the link to the 60 most beautiful apple desktop wallpapers. I love them, I hope you do to.

This one is one of my favourites:

LucidTouch

I found this article today, it’s from a couple month’s ago but it’s the first I’ve heard of this new gadget. It’s called LucidTouch and it builds on Apple’s idea of multi-touch screens. Not surprising though that it’s being researched by Patrick Baudisch… a scientist working for Microsoft.

LucidTouch uses the idea of a transparent screen which utilizes four fingers on each hand for the back side part of the touch screen and the thumbs on the front. Personally I think I would find this slightly awkward. The dual touch screen that Apple has now is perfectly enough for me, I’m not sure what I would need ten fingers for on a touch screen and I honestly don’t think I CAN use all ten at once for one objective, or why I would want to. I guess you could use it as a keyboard from the back side, but it would definitely take some getting used to.

But onward with technology! This is still exciting! Please comment on what your thoughts are for this new gadget.

Peace. Peace Out
